| Welcome to St. Lucia! |
After we rented our car we had quite the experience...driving on the wrong side of the road, going down a one way street, getting lost 89 times and hitting a boulder we finally made it to the most beautiful place...The WindJammer Resort. The drive wasn't all troublesome though - the scenery was breathtaking, the windy roads took us through the picturesque rain forest, ocean views and mountains of banana plantations.

After check-in we threw our bags in the villa and explored the resort and found our way to a rocky cliff and sipped on rum as the sun dipped in to the ocean. This gave us the kick start we needed to get to the Jump UP (street party that all the locals attend every Friday in Gros Islet)
The Jump UP was rockin some local island music, local food - fresh lobster, fish, jerk chicken, and plenty of rum and local Piton beers.

We ended the evening with a dip in the pool and hot tub - yes with more Pitons!
Today (day 2) we are headed to the Catries Market, Marigot Bay, Rodney Bay, Pigeon Island, and Reduit Beach. Then we plan to come back and have foot massages and a candle light dinner on the water. Lets hope we don't get lost driving today! :)
