Day 2 - Castries Market, Pigeon Island, Rodney Bay & Reduit Beach

Beautiful day today!!

Castries Market:

We started our morning by heading into downtown Castries for the local market. They were selling everything you could imagine....food, crafts, woodworking, spices etc.  Tons of local merchants and local people shopping.

Pigeon Island:

This place was amazing!  Old forts from the 1700s and hiking up to the highest point for some spectular views of St. Lucia and neighboring island of Martineque. We spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing on the 2 beaches on Pigeon Island and ended the afternoon sitting at the outside bar with an ice cold Piton.

Reduit Beach:

We drove to Reduit Beach to watch the sunset.  We walked the beach, watched locals ride their horses in the ocean and got a great table at a local restaurant - Spinnakers - with an amazing view of the sunset and 2 for 1 cocktail happy hour :).  It's only day 2 but we're pretty sure this is going to be one of our favorite days here!  The sunset was breathtaking!
